Cecil Anchor

At Cecil Anchor, our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where men in Cecil County can access compassionate, stigma-free mental health support. We aim to anchor men in strength, resilience, and community by offering accessible services, culturally relevant education, and peer-driven resources that empower them to navigate mental health challenges with confidence and connection.

Many young men in Cecil County face mental health challenges. They struggle to seek help due to stigma, pride, or lack of support that speaks to their situation. Cecil Anchor was created to provide a safe, judgment-free space tailored to high school males where they can connect, heal, and grow. We plan to offer practical, peer-supported services designed to meet men where they are and anchor them to real strength, support, and community.

Our Why

Did you know?

According to the CDC, National Center for Health Statistics, men die by suicide nearly 4 times more often than women, yet they are far less likely to seek help.

This is why Cecil Anchor exists.

To break the silence.

To meet men where they are.

To anchor them in strength, support, and connection.

Our Support

We are backed by many members in our community including different coalitions such as YES (Youth Empowerment Source) and DFC (Drug Free Cecil). We strive to make a difference in our community and break the stigma high school males face with their mental health.
